Emergency Response to the 2022 Floods in Pakistan

Flood Impact in Sindh and Punjab

In 2022, widespread flooding across Pakistan displaced families, damaged homes, and disrupted access to food and clean water.

Aadam Life Care delivered emergency relief in affected areas of Sindh and Punjab, focusing on direct distribution of essential supplies to displaced households.

The response prioritised shelter, food assistance, and clean water during the peak crisis period.

Emergency Relief in Sindh and Punjab

Emergency Deployment

Following the 2022 floods, Aadam Life Care initiated emergency relief operations in the affected districts of Sindh and Punjab. Local teams coordinated procurement, transport, and distribution of essential supplies to displaced households.

Relief Distribution in Sindh and Punjab

Relief distributions included 1,700 blankets, 500 tents, food parcels, and bottled water. Supplies were delivered directly to families displaced by flooding and living in temporary or damaged shelters.

The focus was immediate stabilisation through provision of shelter materials, basic food supplies, and safe drinking water during the emergency phase.

Access and Delivery in Affected Areas

Flood damage to roads and infrastructure limited access to several communities.

Local teams coordinated distribution despite transport constraints, prioritising households in remote and heavily affected areas to ensure essential supplies were delivered.

Stabilisation Support for Displaced Families

Many families experienced loss of housing and essential belongings during the floods.

Relief supplies including tents, blankets, food parcels, and bottled water provided short term support during displacement and helped address immediate needs following the disaster.
